A budget hunt — not the book. Pick how much you have. Under $200 is how you start: one RIGHT card, long, not five $40 names. Flip is a list-window clip. Mid is fair ask until the next sell month. Size is eBay mid. Spend Courtyard first (0%), then Arena Club (~10%), eBay last (~13%).

August: NBA & soccer are buy months — use Mid, not Flip. Flip fills when that sport is in a sell window (e.g. MLB now). Under mid = Flip. under outside = last sale under mid and under Outside FMV — second opinion, not the mark.

Watching
Hunt the card, not the discount
10% off the wrong card is still the wrong card. Deals only count on RIGHT. The pill is a title scrape — if the slab looks like print, it is print.
BUY = dump. WAIT = hype. SELL = in-season heat. Outline is this month. Not a price forecast.
Baseball sells from opening day through October; November is the dump. NBA sells into the Finals, buys in summer. WNBA sells into the Finals (fall), buys in winter. NFL into Super Bowl, dump in March. NHL into the Cup, buys in summer. Soccer sells into summer tournaments, buys July–August. This month’s cell is outlined so the SELL isn’t a vibe — it’s the window.
Buy these
One card per player — hunt the PSA 10 of the licensed RC or 1st Bowman Chrome auto. Fair ask in a buy window; fat discount in a sell month. BGS / SGC / raw still add; mark is that grade’s tape.

1st chrome without auto, random autos, Tiffany / Leaf. Not a book card until eBay solds say so.

Parallels
Pink of Chrome #201 is still #201 — price the pink tape, not the base. Logofractor, Prism, Downtown are different cards. RIGHT is a title scrape: if the slab isn’t that print, it isn’t.
Abbreviations
Words Book uses on cards, lists, and desks. Same number ≠ same card — match the print the title actually names.

| BCP | Bowman Chrome Prospects — prospect chrome without the auto; usually WRONG vs the 1st chrome auto. |
| Base | Common checklist copy (Prizm Silver / Chrome base / Optic base). Default mid unless the title names a parallel. |
| SP | Short print — fewer packed than base; often a different photo. Price SP tape, not base. |
